The AP Art and Design Portfolio Exam contain 2 sections.
STARTING IN NOVEMBER, THE AP COLLEGE PORTAL WILL OPEN AND STUDENTS WILL BE ABLE TO START UPLOADING DOCUMENTS.

Selected Works (40%)
This section requires students to demonstrate skillful synthesis of materials, processes, and ideas. These 5 printed pieces can be related to your "Essential Question" and "Sustained Investigation". They can also be their own side project or they can be 5 printed photographs that have nothing to do with each other. 5 Physical Prints High-quality printed reproductions of physical works that each demonstrate synthesis of materials, processes, and ideas using 2-D art and design skills |
Sustained Investigation (60%)
This section requires students to conduct a sustained investigation based on questions, through practice, experimentation, and revision. Both sections of the portfolios require students to articulate information about their work.
